Man Rescued 2 Abductors Arrested in Balkh

BALKH (BNA) A national businessman from freed from abductors, and two were arrested on charges in Balkh, said Interior Ministry.

An operation conducted in cooperation with the Defense Ministry in Mazar-e-Sharif, the center of Balkh province to rescue the man who was abducted a month ago, said Abdul Nafee Takor a spokesman for the Ministry of Interior.

Haji Sardar, was abducted by armed men in Balkh province over a month back, and 300,000 US dollars were demanded from his family by abductors Takor added.

This group of abductors was identified after the pursuit of the police detectives and finally, during a series of special operations, the businessman was saved.
