Iranian media outlets have reported that Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan placing a phone has agreed to hold a bilateral meeting with his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amirabdollahian.
According to the reports the meeting will take place in order to pave the way for the reopening of embassies and consulates between the two countries
Hossein Amirabdollahian wlcoming the meeting said that Iran is ready to strengthen its ties with Saudi Arabia.
It is mentionable that it is the first phone call between Saudi and Iranian foreign ministers after 7 years.
