Last Night Earthquake Took Live of a Person in Takhar

TAKHAR (BNA) A strong earthquake shook Afghanistan plus 8 other countries, that inflicts damages to several houses in Badakhshan, and killed a person, injured five others in Takhar.

A source from Takhar Central Hospital told BNA that one person was killed and five injured, including a woman, were transferred to this hospital.

The epicenter of this earthquake was between the Hindu Kush Mountains in the vicinity of Jaram district of Badakhshan, and its magnitude estimated 6.5.

Meanwhile, in a number of other provinces, there are reports of casualties and destruction of houses due to this natural disaster, but official sources have not said anything about this so far.

The Tuesday earthquake shook 9 countries China, Pakistan, India, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Afghanistan.
