Crimes Level Down in Kabul: Police Officials

KABUL (BNA) The Kabul Police Commander headquarter shared their annual reports with the media in a press conference, today, Wednesday in Kabul.

The head of criminal investigations of the Kabul Police, Mufti Abdul Samad said during the press conference that crimes level down in Kabul in the past year with cooperation of citizens.

Before the re-establishment of the Islamic Emirate, each security zone of Kabul city hosted about 15 private vehicle robberies in a week, while now this level has reduced to almost zero.

In the press Conference, the spokesman of the Police Commander of Kabul, Khalid Zadaran said that 156 cases of murder have happened in Kabul city and 14 districts in a year and the security forces have arrested 36 suspects on charges.

There is 553 cases of robbery from houses, 1,920 cases of fraud and other such incidents, and 2,737 suspects were arrested in charges with these cases, he added.

The Police of Kabul called the cooperation of the citizens crucial in order to create a safe protection in the city and prevent criminal incidents.

In the end of the press Conference, the Kabul Police asked all the residents to report any suspicious incidents, and inform the detective agencies.
