190 More Afghan Prisoners Released by Pakistan
KABUL (BNA) 190 Afghan prisoners undocumented refugees released by Pakistan from prisoners, said Foreign Ministry.
Following the efforts of the Afghan Embassy in Islamabad and the Consulate General of the country in Karachi, 190 Afghan prisoners were released from the Sindh prisons of the country, said the Ministrt in a statement.
All the cost of released prisoners transportation to their country will be paid by the Afghanistan government, said the Ministry.
1893 Afghan prisoners have been released from different prisons of Pakistan and returned to their country so far, according to reports.
Earlier, Iran handed over some Afghan prisoners to the Islamic Emirate at the request of the Afghan government.
