According to the report from the Kabul Municipality, the price of food in the various markets of the capital city is as follows:
- A sack of Kazakh wheat flour (50) kilos: 2,130 Afghanis
- A barrel of oil (16) liters: 1760 Afghanis
- A bag of fine rice (25) kilos: 3000 Afghanis
- Seven kilos of short grain rice: 350 Afghanis
- Seven kilos of sugar: 390 Afghanis
- Seven kilos of large kidney beans: 730 Afghanis
- Seven kilos of green moong dal: 440 Afghanis
- Seven kilos of chickpeas: 720 Afghani
