Poppy Farms on 10 Acres of Land Eradicated In Laghman

 

LAGHMAN (BNA) Chief of the Counter-Narcotics Department of Laghman province, says that poppy farms on 10 acres of land were eradicated in Umarzi village on the outskirts of the capital of the province.

Qari Ghulamullah Idris, chief of the Counter-Narcotics Department of Laghman province, said that a number of poppy farms in Mehtarlam, the provincial capital and Alingar, Qarghayi, and Badpash districts were eradicated in the recent past.

He said poppy eradication drive will continue until there is zero narcotic farms in the province.
