The US Special Representative for Afghanistan, Thomas West, visiting some representatives of humanitarian organizations in Geneva stated that the Taliban policies threaten aid delivery to millions in Afghanistan.
“As human rights situation gravely deteriorates, especially for women and girls, we must support his work, access, and reporting,” Mr. West tweeted.
He has visited some representatives of International Organization for Migration [IOM], WHO and other organizations.
The news comes as, humanitarian organizations have repeatedly warned of bad consequences of Taliban’s decision towards women and girls, but the Taliban, undermining the concerns, continue to impose restrictions on women.
