Over 9,000 Needy Families Received Humanitarian Aid in Four Provinces
KABUL (BNA) Local officials said that 9,986 needy families received humanitarian assistance in Farah, Takhar, Paktia, and Logar provinces.
Officials say that 500 needy families have received seven items of food assistance in Farah Rood district of Farah province.
Meanwhile, 2,593 needy families received flour, cocking oil, lentils, and some other food items in Takhar province.
Elsewhere, 293 needy families received flour, cocking oil, lentils, and salt in Warmamay district of Paktika province.
Meanwhile, the IIR, a Japanese NGO provided solar power tools to 300 needy families in Barmal and Kayan districts of the Paktika province.
World Food Program (WFP) has assisted 6,600 needy families in Baraki Bark and Mohammad Agha districts of Logar province. Each family received flour, cocking oil, lentils, and some other food items.
