The Taliban Ministry of Foreign Affairs releasing a statement called the burning of Quran in Denmark as insulting the beliefs of nearly “two billion Muslims under the name of freedom of expression (which) is in no circumstances justifiable.”
The Taliban Foreign Ministry condemned the act with the strongest terms.
The Taliban called on the EU countries to fulfill their responsibilities and stop such acts which lead to hatred.
It is mentionable that after burning Quran in Sweden, and Netherlands, this time a far right has burned Quran in front of Turkish embassy in Copenhagen, capital of Denmark.
Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and some other Muslim countries have denounced the act and urged that such acts must be prevented.
