As the Taliban continue to impose restrictions on women, this time they have written a letter to all private universities and colleges ordered them not to enroll female students for coming semester.
“Enrollment of female is not allowed until further notice,” the letter reads.
The letter which social media users share on different platforms has asked the private institutions not to register girls for upcoming university entrance exam.
The Taliban Ministry of Higher Education has urged the universities and educational institutions to inform it five days before the entrance exam to monitor the process by positioning a group of delegation.
However the Taliban Ministry of Higher Education has not formally commented regarding the letter which circles on social media.
The above-mentioned ministry has banned girls’ higher education untill further notice.
