Humanitarian Aid Distributes to Hundreds of Families in Logar

KABUL (BNA) The Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Afghanistan in cooperation with the Afghan Red Crescent Society distributed food aid to needy families with the financial support of the King Salman Charity Foundation in Logar.

The spokesperson of the Afghan Red Crescent Society Irfanullah Sharafzoi, says that aid was distributed to 400 needy families in the province.

The aid includes 450 food packages, each package weighs 62kg, he added.

The OIC officials say that the organization plans distribute aid to 47,400 families in 25 provinces of Afghanistan within a year.

40kg of flour, 5kg of rice, 5kg of beans, 5kg of sugar, 5 liters of cooking oil, and dates were distributed to each family, today.

Meanwhile, the organizatio distributed food aid to 600 needy families in the center of Logar.
