Afghanistan’s Economy is on the Path of Development
KABUL (BNA) The World Bank monitored Afghanistan’s economic growth positively and said that the country’s economic indicators are developing.
while several other organizations, including the United Nations, said that poverty is spreading in Afghanistan, the statements of the World Bank show that the realities of Afghanistan are something different that the organizations and the international community have paid less attention to it, the fact is that Afghanistan has a positive economic growth and the World Bank recognizes it.
The World Bank report said that the inflation rate in Afghanistan continues its “downward” trend. Annual inflation in November 2022 was announced at 18.3% at its peak in July, which decreased to 9.1% in November 2022.
The currency of “Afghani” rates against the US dollar has been stable in the last few months, said the world bank.
Spokesman of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Zabihullah Mujahid said that Afghanistan’s exports increased to nearly two billion dollars in nine months, which indicates the recovery of the country’s economy.
The latest report of the World Bank shows that Afghanistan’s exports have increased to 1.7 billion US dollars in nine months of 2022.
The report said that the prices of oil and food also dropped in Afghanistan.
The report mentioned saying that the salaries of government employees are paid to male and female employees on time and the collection of revenue and taxes by the relevant departments of the Islamic Emirate is deep.
