Local sources in Parwan province report that the Taliban group has taken more than 100 vehicles, supplies and equipment from Bagram Airbase to an unknown location.
According to sources, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm today (Monday), the Taliban continuously pulled out cars loaded with supplies and equipment that were being used in the former government at this military base.
These supplies and equipment were reportedly taken out under strict security measures and patrolling cars full of Taliban fighters.
So far however it is not yet clear where they would be taken by the Taliban.
Meanwhile, the Bagram military airbase has hosted hundreds of NATO soldiers over the past two decades as the largest base of international forces in the ex-government.
In this military base, in addition to NATO’s special military units, a well-equipped hospital was also providing health services to the people.
After the Taliban seized control of the country, mainly the Helmandi and Kandahari Taliban were stationed in Bagram Airfield.
