28,000 Afghan Refuges Repatriated from Iran in a Month

NIMROZ (BNA) Officials of the Nimroz Refugees department say that during a month, 28,170 refugees have returned to the country from Iran through the Melek border.

The provincial head of Refugees and Repatriations of Nimroz affairs director Mawlawi Siddiqullah Nusrat told BNA that 28,170 Afghan refugees have returned to the country either forcibly or voluntarily.

He added that this agency has introduced many poor people of the returned refugees to the IOM office to get help.
