Needy Families Received Aid in Logar

PUL-ALAM (BNA) Saturday, the World Food Programme (WFP) distributed cash and food to 5,300 needy families in the center and districts of Mohammad Agheh and Charkh Logar.

Sibghatullah Naib Khel, the press officer of the Logar Rural Rehabilitation and Development Department, told BNA that the World Food Programme, in coordination and cooperation with the Logar Rural Rehabilitation and Development Department and the Action aid institution for the Development and Welfare of Rural Areas, in the center of Logar.

He said each family received 4,100 Afghanis in cash, adding that rice, cooking oil, salt, and lentils also assisted to 1,300 families in the Charkh district, and wheat flour, cooking oil, lentils, and a bag of salt to 800 families in Mohammad Agha Logar district.
