Ashraf Ghani, the runaway president of Afghanistan, in an interview with CNN referring to his escape from Afghanistan said, “I did not want to give the Taliban and their supporters the pleasure of yet again humiliating an Afghan president.”
Ghani that considers himself as the current president of Afghanistan still justifies his escape.
