Deputy PM Tasked Relevant Organs to Assist Flood Victims

KABUL (BNA) On Thursday, monsoon rains brought flash floods that destroyed hundreds of houses and killed some across the country in some provinces.

Deputy Prime Minister, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund tasked the relevant organs to provide necessary assist the victims who suffered floods, said a statement by his office.

On Thursday a flash flood hit some provinces of the country mostly Logar, Paktia, Maidan Wardak, and Kapisa causing substantial financial and human losses to citizens of the country.

Deputy Prime Minister Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund expressed his deepest condolences to the victims of the recent floods and tasked the relevant departments to provide urgent assistance to the family victims of the floods.

This year’s natural disasters in Afghanistan, including devastating floods and earthquakes, caused irreparable economic losses and lives throughout the country.
