KABUL (BNA) Acting Mines and Petroleum Minister, Shahabuddin Delawar, met with the Ambassador of Japan, Takashi Okada, in his office, on Sunday.
In a statement, the Ministry said that the Minister of Mines and Petroleum stressed during a meeting with Japan ambassador the development of investment in Afghanistan’s mines and the continuation of friendly relations between the two countries.
Delawar said quoting the statement, that currently the security across Afghanistan is ensured, and there is a favorable opportunity for investment in the country.
He said that there is no prohibition in the sector of girls’ education, adding efforts are being made to create a suitable and better environment for education and work for women.
Ambassador Okada highlighted the long friendly relations between Afghanistan and Japan, adding that Japan will never leave Afghanistan alone and will continue its assistance to Afghanistan.
In the end, Delawar thanked Japan for its assistance to Afghanistan and said that the Islamic Emirate wants good relations with all the countries of the world.
