Sources say the body of a young woman has been found in the river in Panjshir province.
On Wednesday evening (June 21st), sources told Hasht-e Subh that the body of this woman had been discovered two days ago in the Talkha area, Bazarak, Panjshir.
According to sources, the woman was apparently shot in the head and then thrown into the river.
According to sources, the victim is from Nuristan and was married to a man from Panjshir. The motive for the murder is not yet clear.
This is the fourth body found from the river in Panjshir this week. Previously, the bodies of three men have been found in the river with signs of torture and gunfire.
Sources blame the Taliban for the crimes.
