Liberation Front Attacks Taliban Forces in Kapisa, Leaving 3 Taliban Killed and 4 Wounded

Sources say gunmen have carried out an assault o a Taliban base in Kapisa province.

According to sources, the attack took place on Monday night (June 20th) on Taliban forces in a neighborhood called Zaghgir, on the outskirts of the provincial capital.

The National Liberation Front has claimed responsibility for the attack.

The front sent a newsletter to Hasht-e Subh claiming that three Taliban had been killed and four others wounded in the attack.

The Taliban have not yet commented on the allegations.
