It has been three months that a former public uprising member is in Taliban’s custody

Relatives of a former public uprising movement member named, Mirza Mohammad, told Aamaj News that it has been three months since he was arrested by Taliban’s intelligence forces in Salang district of Parwan province, yet, there is no information about his situation.

Relatives of Mirza Mohammad added that firstly he was arrested by Taliban’s intelligence forces, and then transferred to directorate of security in Baghlan. He was not allowed to visit his relatives, and now he is in prison in directorate 40 in Kabul.

They added that Mirza Mohammad has been arrested without any reason, and this act is “taking revenge.”

The news comes as Human Rights Watch reacted to Taliban’s arrests, and Taliban called it “propaganda.”
