TTP and Pak Govt to start a new chapter of Talks

KABUL (BNA) Pakistan government started another chapter of dialogues with Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan, reported Pak media on Tuesday.

A five-member Pakistani delegation led by former senator Maulana Saleh Shah will travel to Afghanistan next Wednesday, Pakistani media reported.

Pakistani media reported that the delegation included tribal elders from North Waziristan, Orakzai, Karama, Khyber, Mohmand, Bajaur, and Malakand.

Official Afghan government sources have not yet commented. But the Islamic Emirate has repeatedly hosted talks between the Pakistani Taliban and the Pakistani government, which has led to a temporary ceasefire between the two sides.

Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan in its new chapter of talks with the government of Pakistan would ask for the strengthening of Sharia law in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the return and safety of its members to their homes.

According to Pak media, a new chapter of dialogues between the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan and the Pakistan government is taking place in Afghanistan as the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan calls for an end to violence between the two sides through talks.
