OCHA: 1,3 Million Afghan Refugees Assisted in Pakistan

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has reported that it has assisted 1.3 million Afghan refugees in Pakistan.
According to OCHA’s report published on Friday, this number of migrants in Pakistan received assistance packages by the end of March 2022.
The aid, which included food and health services, has covered 1.3 million people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, and other Pakistani cities.
With the takeover of the country by the Taliban, a measurable number of people fled the country and Pakistan was the first option for them to seek shelter.
Pakistan has no shelter or support program for refugees. The refugees live a very dire life there in Pakistan tolerating several challenges and financial problem is one of them.
