Delawar Meets Former Governor Gul Agha Sherzai

KABUL (BNA): In a meeting io ng former governor Gul Agha Sherzaj at the outset appreciated the ministry for its progress in the mining sector, and the two sides discussed terms to support, and implement and address the country’s mining projects.

The acting minister Delaware said that the implementation of mining projects is of special importance in the country’s economy and any problems with the projects should be addressed.

Acting Mines and Petroleum Minister Sheikh Shahabuddin Delawar met with elders and figures of Khogyani district of Nangarhar province, said reports.

During a meeting, the elders and figures of Nangarhar province shared their problems and suggestions regarding the Talaak mines.

One of the figures previously invested in Talaak mines in Nangarhar province attended the meeting as well.

Later, he demanded a renewed contract under the existing mining law to allow him to start works on the mine.

During the meeting, the Acting Minister listened to the suggestions and demands of the participants for resolving the issues and assured them that their requests would be reviewed carefully.
