A Taliban Commander and Two of His Guards Killed in an Internal Clash in Takhar Province

In recent days, internal clashes have increased among the Taliban commanders in Takhar province that have resulted in causalities and tension among them.

In an internal clash among the Taliban fighters in Takhar province, two fighters are killed, including their commander named Obaidullah, sources report.

The conflicts took place in Khwaja Ghar district of the province last night.

According to sources, Obaidullah was a local commander in the former government, who had earlier killed nine soldiers of the ex-government in the center of Khwaja Ghar district and then joined the Taliban.

Local Taliban members have not yet commented on his murder.
