Intermittent clashes between the Taliban fighters and the NRF forces in Panjshir have been going on for about three weeks.
Sources in Panjshir province have reported that the Resistance Front forces have killed a Red Corps of the Taliban commander in a clash.
According to sources, this commander of the Taliban is killed in Paryan district of Panjshir province on Friday, May 20. His name is Mawlawi Ghaweer.
The continuing clashes in the province have made the Taliban’s senior members, specifically their Acting Defense Minister, Mullah Yaqoob to travel to Panjshir for the purpose of leading the fight against the NRF forces.
