The National Resistance Front of Afghanistan (NRF) claimed that Taliban have evicted 27 families from the villages of Anamak, Baagh dara and Taghaanak in the Pul-e-Hesar district of Andaraab ha.
Spokesman of the NRF, Sibghatullah Ahmadi, said the families left their houses hastily on Wednesday.
“The Taliban warned them that they did not have the right to live in the nine northern provinces,” Ahmadi added.
After intensification of conflict in some northern provinces in particular Panjshir, Takhar and Baghlan, the Taliban have resorted to killing, harassment and torturing of civilians.
The news comes as earlier there were reports that Taliban evicted family members of NRF forces in Panjshir and Andarab.
