Former vice president, Amrullah Saleh, reacted to the recent order of Taliban that said female presenters must cover their faces while presenting programs.
“Next time women will be ordered to follow the ways of Haibatullah – face the wall & let your back be on screen,” Saleh added. “The new Talib decree on TV hijab is more for blocking the voice of women than covering their face.Talking with a black cloth mask on your face isn’t easy & practical.”
The news comes as Taliban issuing an order said that female presenters must cover their faces while presenting programs. The decision of Taliban provoked internal and international reactions.
