Unknown Gunmen Kill Omid Afghan Turk Private High School Principal in Kandahar City

Kabul – Local sources in Kandahar province have confirmed that unidentified gunmen have shot dead Irshad Ahmad, the principal of Omid Afghan-Turk Private High School in the province.

He was killed in Aino Mina Township of Kandahar on Saturday afternoon, May 14.

The killers have taken the victim’s phone as well.

So far, no group or individual has claimed responsibility for the incident.

Taliban members have not yet provided details on the case.

The targeted killings of elite individuals have increased by unidentified gunmen in the country since the Taliban rebels have seized control of Afghanistan.
