Pakistan Responds to Taliban’s Request for Humanitarian Support to Flood Victims in Afghanistan

Kabul – Following the heavy rainfalls and floods in many provinces of Afghanistan, the Taliban had called on the world and international agencies to help the affected people and the victims.

Now, the office of the Prime Minister of Pakistan has announced the shipment of new aid packages to Afghanistan, adding the first consignment of Pakistani aid to the flood victims of Afghanistan has arrived in Afghanistan in a special flight by the Pakistani Air Force today (Saturday, May 7).

The donations include 100 tents, 2 tons of flour, 200 tons of rice, and 450 kilograms of sugar.

The office of the Prime Minister of Pakistan has further said that the second aid packages to meet the needs of flood victims in Afghanistan will be delivered to the country by May 9.

Meanwhile, Pakistan is the first country to respond to the Taliban’s request for humanitarian support for flood victims.
