Heavy Floods Kill Five Residents in Faryab

Kabul – Local sources in Faryab province have confirmed that due to heavy rains and floods in Pul-Cheragh district of the province, five people have been killed, including two children.

According to sources, the bodies of three of the victims have been pulled out of the water and two others are missing.

In addition to the casualties, the floods destroyed hundreds of acres of agricultural land and killed dozens of livestock, as confirmed.

Due to heavy rains over the past three days, Panjshir, Nuristan, and Faryab provinces have witnessed devastating floods.
