Kabul – Local sources in Kunar province have confirmed that five members of a family have been killed, including four children and a woman as a result of Pakistani army airstrikes on some parts of the areas in the province.
Sources told Hasht-e Subh that Pakistani jets bombed the village of Chogam in the Sheltan district of Kunar province at around 2:00 AM on Saturday night, April 16.
It has been several days that villages in Kunar province are under heavy rocket attacks by the Pakistan army.
Residents of Kunar province have complained about the Taliban’s silence on the attacks, saying they should act as soon as possible.
Mawlawi Najibullah, the Acting Head of Information and Culture in Kunar province, has confirmed the attacks, saying that Pakistani jets have carried out several rocket attacks during the past three days targeting Marwara, Nari, and Sheltan districts and some other districts of the province.
In another report, Pakistani fighter jets also targeted areas in Khost province, killing at least 30 people, including women and children, according to local sources.
