Samangan Police Chief: No Police Officer Has the Right to Beat Suspects

AIBAK (BNA) Security officials in Samangan province say “No police officer has the right to beat suspects or a criminal”.

The Samangan police chief ordered the forces under his command that no Mujahideen or police officer has the right to beat the accused or criminal.

He stated that it is the duty of the security forces to arrest the culprit and hand him over to the judiciary.

Beating is against violation of the supreme leader of Islamic Emirate decree and a violation of Islamic law He said.
