An Independent source in Afghanistan’s Parwan province has confirmed that Taliban fighters have arbitrarily killed a young man named Nematullah in Parwan for having an alleged connection with National Resistance Front (NRF) forces. The man was a resident of the Deh Mullah village of Parwan’s Bagram district.
The Taliban had detained him a few days ago for being a member of NRF forces. The source further adds that Taliban fighters have handed Nematullah’s body to his family on Sunday morning.
Nematullah’s family members have rejected the accusation, saying that he was a manual laborer with not connection to any armed forces fighting against the Taliban. They have further claimed that the Taliban have taken away Nematullah’s brother-in-law too. No one knows about where he is being kept.
Taliban members in Parwan have not commented on the incident so far.
