Kabul – The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has announced the establishment of its office in Kabul in order to coordinate humanitarian efforts in the country.
The office in Kabul would coordinate its humanitarian endeavors with Afghanistan and international partners, OIC said in a tweet on Sunday (March 6).
This office will be funded by the organization’s human and material resources in accordance with the resolution adopted at the OIC Foreign Ministers’ Meeting on Afghanistan.
Moreover, the Islamic Cooperation has stated that the establishment of the office in the country demonstrates its commitment to supporting the people of Afghanistan in various areas.
Meanwhile, OIC has established its office in Afghanistan for the first time and it has appointed Mohammad Saeed Al-Ayash as the organization’s representative to the country.
