Kabul – In a news conference, the Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov confirmed the capture of the Ukrainian city of Kherson on Wednesday (March 2).
According to him, a total of 1,502 Ukrainian military infrastructures had been destroyed during the military operations.
He told the reporters that the Russian army had destroyed 472 Ukrainian tanks and armored vehicles, 63 rocket launchers, 206 artillery guns, and 336 military vehicles.
Six days after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Kherson is the first city to be completely occupied by Russian forces.
For the moment, Ukrainian officials have not yet commented.
