Young Boy Mistakenly Killed in Parwan

Kabul – Security officials in Parwan confirm, a 13-year-old boy in the province was mistakenly killed while hunting.

The incident took place in the village of Taglar in the Jabal Saraj district of the province on Wednesday, February 23, according to Mohammad Kamran Habibi, a spokesman for the Parwan Police Command.

Mr. Kamran added the boy had been mistakenly killed while hunting a bird by another teenager.

He reported that two accused have been arrested in connection with the incident.

Meanwhile, the residents of parts of the northern provinces of the capital, especially the villages adjacent to the Salang, Panjshir, and Ghorband rivers, hunt birds in different seasons of the year.

In the past, similar incidents have also taken place in Parwan province.
