ICRC: Afghans Need for Aid Rise by 30%

Kabul – The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has reported that the level of hunger and the need for humanitarian aid has increased in Afghanistan compared to last year.

According to ICRC, about 24.4 million Afghans need humanitarian assistance, which the figures illustrate a 30 percent increase compared to last year.

Meanwhile, the rate of hunger, poverty, and unemployment has severely increased since the recent political changes in the country.
