Kabul – Unidentified gunmen killed two residents of the Nawa district of Helmand and injured another in a shooting, local officials in the province confirm.
“The incident took place in the village of Kakaran in the Nawa district of the province on Sunday night,” Hafiz Rashid, director of information and culture of Helmand, told Hasht-e Subh.
The victims who were hit were shopkeepers while they were on their way back from a party.
According to Mr. Rashid, they took the injured man to Lashkargah city emergency hospital, and he is in good condition.
In the meantime, the officials report that attempts are going on to arrest the criminals.
