Kabul – A suspect named Habibullah has been arrested in connection with the murder of his wife in the center of Nimruz province, according to Bahram Haqmal, spokesman for the Nimruz police chief.
Mr. Haqmal has reported that the main motive for the murder is unknown, but Habibullah, the victim’s husband, claims that the murder was committed by Esmatullah, the victim’s son.
However, security officials say the case is under investigation by the province’s crime management department.
Meanwhile, one woman was murdered and another woman was wounded in a shooting by military forces on a vehicle in Kandahar yesterday.
