Kabul – Today, (Wednesday, February 16), the Central Bank announced in a newsletter that $32 million in cash reached Kabul which is the 15th package of UN humanitarian aid.
The Central Bank added the aid package has been delivered through this bank to the Afghanistan International Bank (AIB).
In the meantime, it has appreciated the cash assistance and said it works to facilitate banking in the country.
Previously, the bank had stated it would appreciate any humanitarian action that helps the people in need.
Earlier, the UN had said it would send $20 million a week in cash to Afghanistan by the end of March 2022.
Meanwhile, the dollar has depreciated slightly against the afghani currency as the amount of dollar increased by the donors to the country.
