Kabul – The department of traffic in Parwan province has collected 2.3 million afghanis in revenue, according to officials.
“The revenue has been collected for the past 11 months,” Abdul Manaf Farooqi, director of traffic in Parwan province, told Hasht-e Subh.
According to him, the amount of money has been obtained from the distribution of driving licenses and fine bills for drivers of vehicles.
The traffic department has collected 2.3 million afghanis in revenue while the employees of this department have not been paid for 7 months. However, officials say they will receive their salaries soon.
According to statistics, more than 50 traffic police work in traffic management in Parwan province.
