Afghanistan’s Traders Can Import 17 Goods in Exchange for PKR

Kabul – The Ministry of Commerce and Trade of Pakistan has announced that it has allowed the export of at least 17 goods in its national currency to Afghanistan.

The export items include poultry and its products, meat, cement, medicine, fruits, vegetables, salt, rice, and surgical instruments.

Meanwhile, Mansoor Ahmad Khan, Pakistan’s ambassador to Kabul, said: “It is to ensure that Afghanistan’s exports are not affected by the dollar shortage.

Moreover, Ahmad Khan has stated that the purpose of his country’s economic policy is to increase exports between the two countries.

According to the plan, Afghan traders will have to buy the imported items in Pakistani national currency.

Meanwhile, the use of foreign currency is currently banned in the country.
