Kabul – Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) officials say the company is speeding up the electricity supply process in remote districts of Kapisa.
Hafiz Mohammad Amin Farooqi CEO of DABS, who traveled to the province on Saturday, February 5, pledged that residents of remote districts of the province would soon have access to electricity.
In addition, referring to the Bagh Dare dam, one of the national projects in Kapisa province, he said that the construction of the incomplete projects would resume, adding that with the building of the Bagh Dam in the province, 15 other provinces, including the capital, will benefit from electricity.
The Bagh Dare dam will be made on the Panjshir and Ghorband rivers and is said to have a capacity of 250 to 300 megawatts of electricity.
It is worth mentioning that the dam is one of the largest water dams in the country.
Meanwhile, the technical teams of the former government had also surveyed the dam several times, however, its practical work did not begin.
