An earthquake of magnitude 5.7 occurred in northeastern Afghanistan on Saturday morning around 9:45 am. The epicenter of the earthquake was 95 km south-southeast of Faizabad, Afghanistan, according to India’s National Center for Seismology.
The center added that the magnitude of the earthquake was 5.7 Richter.
The epicenter was reported 95 kilometers southeast of Faizabad, NDTV reported, citing the National Center for Seismology.
According to the organization, the earthquake struck at a depth of 181 km from the surface.
