Russian special presidential envoy for Afghansitan, Zamir Kabulov, in an interview with TASS News Agency said that Russia fully trusts Kazakh president statement that militants from Afghanistan were involved in the January unrest in that country, and added that they suspect whether the militants undergone combat training in Syria and Iraq.
This Russian diplomat requested CSTO to monitor Afghan-Tajik border, adding that this region is under observation of Moscow, too.
Kabulov emphasized that Russia is always ready for different scenarios, even the worst one.
While Kabulov stated these issues that earlier Kazakhstan’s president said that militants from Afghanistan were involved in recent unrest in that country, and president of Tajikistan said of the existence of terrorists training camps in northern part of Afghanistan.
