The ECC of Pakistan allows export of goods in Pakistani currency to Afghanistan
Geo News reported that the Economic Coordination Committee of Pakistan (ECC) allowed the export of commodities to Afghanistan in Pakistani currency.
According to this report yesterday ECC of Pakistan made the decision.
The report reiterates that certain commodities including sugar, rice, fish and meat, will be exported in Pakistani currency to Afghanistan.
Geo News reported that ECC removed the 45% regulatory duty on the import of pine nuts from Afghanistan.
It is highly mentionable that Afghanistan import commodities in USD, and recently the rate of USD has gone up due to US sanctions against Taliban, and prices have gone following the issue, as well.
