The Acting Minister of Education of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan said that schools for girls across Afghanistan will be reopened as it is their responsibility not due to world pressure.
The Acting Minister Maulaee Noorullah Muneer expressed the remarks in his meeting with UN General-Secretary’s special representative to Afghanistan Deborah Lyons on Thursday, January 20, 2022.
Noorullah Muneer said that getting an education is the right of girls and the IEA has the responsibility to provide.
IEA officials have announced that higher schools for girls and public universities for boys and girls will be reopened in the next educational year that comes off in March.
150 public universities for boys and girls and all public higher schools for girls have still been closed under the Taliban rule.
