Turkey to send 700 tons of aid to Afghanistan on ‘charity train’

Turkey’s president Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced on Wednesday that the country would be sending a “charity train” to Afghanistan carrying emergency goods.
Erdogan said the train, carrying 700 tons of food, clothing, and health and emergency supplies will be sent with the support of 10 NGOs under the coordination of Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency.
